I would like to use the LDAP authentication mechanism in Geonetwork.
I read some mails about it on the lists there's a couple of week...

Andrea, please, did you give a look on the Greg's code?
Did you plan to implement it into Geonetwork?

Hi Mathieu,
now I have no time to look into that code. LDAP is a requested feature and it will
be added for sure but not now: we are very busy until May with geonetwork.
If you really need it, try to use that patch.

Hi Mathieu,
the main features of geonetwork 2.1 are there but we are planning a few
additions to be done by May. They regard mainly an Ajax search and maybe
a OAI-PMH harvesting.
The use of LDAP should be a little effort so, maybe Jeroen can try to find
out some funds for it. Jeroen, what do you think?
