I would like to customize the Metadata Editor Form the form which gets invoked by(metadata.edit) service. I would like to disable few text boxes and also make some cosmetic changes. I traced the flow and got the xsl used for this flow which is “metadata-edit.xsl”.
In the final HTML generated I noticed there are many such span tags and legend tags etc… How are these being generated and also the span id contains generated id’s how are they being generated and what mapping is done for these ids?
I am trying to understand the nuts and bolts so that i can go ahead and change the look and feel and have a control of the data elements finally presented. Any help on this is highly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
