[GeoNetwork-devel] Missing LDAP option in http://url/geonetwork/srv/eng/config

Hello,

We are from the TU Delft university. We are working on LDAP integration of GeoNetwork.

In every documentation we find the option of LDAP authentication. In our settings we are not able to find this option. Is there something we are missing?

We use version 2.10.3.3 and also tried the newest version.

Thank you in advance,

Best regards, B. Bruens

Hi,

As far as I know, version 2.10.x does not configure LDAP on the
settings but on xml files. Are you building from sources or using the
war provided? If it is the war, you have to explode (unzip) it, change
the files, and re-generate the war again.

Regards,
María.

The configuration is spread amongst several files :

- you need to enable ldap auth in WEB-INF/config-security/config-security.xml (uncomment the config-security-ldap.xml import)
- then configure it for your setup in WEB-INF/config-security/config-security.properties
- and maybe have a look at WEB-INF/config-security/config-security-overrides.properties for ldap attributes/profile mapping

Hi

Probably the old settings to setup LDAP are still available in the UI, but not used. In 2.10.X should be used the files as pointed by Landry and Maria.

Jose García
