Today I've encountered a new problem with
Z39.50 searching.
The present() method
of Z3950Searcher has an exception handler.
Unfortunately I am now seeing, intermittently,
NullPointerExceptions generated in that
exception handler!
It seems that the value of "frag" can
be null, so the call to
frag.getSourceRepositoryID() will fail
in that case. I can do my own fix,
but I was wondering if anyone else has seen this
and can explain the circumstances under
which it occurs?
