[GeoNetwork-devel] (no subject)

Hi All,

I'd like to commit this patch (which includes an upgrade to geotools 8.2) to geonetwork 2.8.x in order to fix a problem with (spatial) database connections being exhausted:

http://trac.osgeo.org/geonetwork/ticket/1106

I've checked the csw test files for consistency and itests (including Jesse's excellent new test harness - hundreds of tests!) - results are consistent between 2.8.x unpatched and 2.8.x with this patch.

Does anyone have any objections? I'd like to get it into 2.8.x RC2 so that it can also be tested in the real world.

Cheers and thanks,
Simon

FYI. I have the essentially the same patch on master and geocat.ch and it is working very well. So I say that you should go ahead with the patch.
