[GeoNetwork-devel] OGC Web Services Harvesting interface error

Hi,

I just downloaded GN2.10RC2 to test and discovered that I could not access
the OGC Web Services Harvesting interface. All the other harvesting
interfaces I tried seemed fine. It gave a javascript Null type error in
gn.libs.js line 1038. No visible errors in the jetty logs. Using a Firefox
browser. Both service and client on the same Ubuntu 12.04 install using
default installation.

Could not access Trac to submit bug as it seems to be down.

Cheers,
Byron

Hi Byron,

could you check that cleaning your browser cache does not help solving
the issue ?
are you migrating or running a clean install ?

Cheers.

Yep. Clearing the console did it. I have a GN2.8 install on the same machine.
Should have done that as a matter of course.

Thanks, Francois.

Hi,

I have tried with a Debian using Firefox and it seems I get no error.
Does the harvest administration panel look different from 2.8? (It
shouldn't)

It's weird that other harvest interfaces work ok and this fails, as
this line you mention of gn.libs.js is a common line for all harvest
interfaces. Have you tried with a debug parameter? Like
http://localhost:8080/geonetwork/srv/eng/harvesting?debug=true Does it
fail then?

Regards,
MarĂa.
