Turning this this into a todo list (or evaluating how close you are will be the work of this devel list, I am here to answer questions and facilitate).
Aside: Looking around the web site I GeoNetwork has a simple link to http://geonetwork-opensource.org/); but we lack the "info sheet" material of the other projects (http://www.osgeo.org/gdal_ogr or MapServer - OSGeo). Although it has not been stressed much part of the benifit of OSGeo involvement is a consistent presentation of the various open source geospatial components.
Yes, I checked out the to do list. We'll get work done on the moving of the copyright soon. Also, with Tyler I have set up an info sheet. I asked him to change the link on the OSGEO page to point to that and do a minimal update to the info sheet, so I reckon that will be done soon.
On the copyright issue, do we move the whole source code archive, or would it be OK to just move the latest 2.1 code?
Thanks for your support!
Ciao,
Jeroen

I must of missed these emails - bad mentor no cookie. (you did tell your developers list right )
For the (c) issue I need to ask a couple of questions:
- what is needed is a providence review (making sure your headers are in order by hand) - I imagine an IRC work party would get that done quickly and clean up any issues found. The important part is to track what issues were found, what was done to fix them and so on.
- you should just need to check the latest 2.1 code (ie what you plan to ship next). For GeoTools we are going to revisit the providence review for each major release
Cheers,
Jody
