Good day,
Some time ago I tried to print to PDF metadata layer from GeoNode v1.2 with FGDC format and I have tried the following steps:
- Go to GeoNode and register.
- Go to Geonetwork and register
2.1) Create a fill metadata (where it says Template FGDC substitute the name of the layer)
2.2) Send save and close.
2.3) Find the metadata and click on Other Actions and then assign privileges
all privileges to the metadata.
2.4) Find the metadata and locate the icon whose tooltip says: Save … Metadata as XML
2.5) Place the pointer on the icon and look in the taskbar that ID is in the URL … and
write it down.
- Go to Geoserver, Data-> Layers
3.1 Find the layer you added and give click.
3.2 Links to the Metadata section … Adding a new link:
a) Type, select FGDC.
b) Format application / pdf
c) URL, http:// << IP >> / FGDC / ID (from step 2.4)
- Go to and look Geonode credad layer above and select the link.
Result:
If I make the link to download the PDF FGDC format, but when I click sends me to a page that says: Page not found …
No I honestly this missing, the only thing I want is for me to print the PDF from the GeoNode FGDC format.
Greetings.
Sergio.
To be clear. You can display the metadata in the browser but not print it? Could you give me the print url so I can verify that it is a good url? It could also be that the print template has not been made for fgdc. That I don’t know.
