[GeoNetwork-devel] Problem in geonetwork-core with documentation

Hi,

Am I correct that there is still documentation that is maintained inside the geonetwork-core instead of in core-doc-sources? I see updates within the docs folder, while all documentation also sits in the core-doc-sources repository.

I think this is incorrect and requires correcting ASAP. I think the docs folder should be removed from the geonetwork-core, unless we have good reasons to remove core-doc-sources (maybe because we will have more documentation maintained next to the code!?).

Thanks,
Jeroen

Hi Jeroen

The docs was initially a sub-module in github, but last summer in Bolsena meeting was removed and moved the docs to each branch.

Similar with other sub-modules as was a bit painful to manage them. Still using some submodules for geoserver and maven_repo, that hopefully can be removed no so far.

Jose García
