Dear all,
I would like to suggest an add on to the geonetwork-opensource.org website where we can put names of service providers that deliver solutions around GeoNetwork. This includes for us, GeoCat, the consulting, implementation and support but also GeoCat Bridge. I would like to see others also promote their services on the website so users know their potential options better. Now you can only find this information on OSGeo or by directly contacting people on the mailinglists.
Are there strong objections against this? Other suggestions? I would like to have some mechanism in place to we ensure some quality control on such a list.
Regards,
Jeroen

I think it could be nice to at least point to the OSGeo list of service providers (including GeoNetwork as a search criteria ?) [1]. Then a short description of core contributors and other providers could be also good.
For tools (like the Bridge, ArcMap CSW client, …), I would prefer a short description in the documentation about “tools related to GeoNetwork”, maybe a review of the FOSSGIS [2] page ?
Cheers.
Francois
