First of all sorry for cross posting.
Secondly, I have recently reviewed a Dublin Core implementation standard and
a few questions have cropped up regarding using ISO 19115/19139 codeLists as
"scheme" attributes in the HTML "meta" tags and "rel" attributes in the HTML
"link" tags.
I suggested that an HTML tag for referencing the ISO 19115/19139 codeLists
should look like this:
<link rel="schema.ISO19115CODES"
href="http://www.isotc211.org/2005/resources/Codelist/gmxCodelists.xml" />
because this is the official location of the ISO 19139 XML implementation
codeLists of ISO 19115 codeLists.
I also suggested that the HTML meta tags should look like this:
<meta name="DC.subject" scheme="ISO19115CODES.MD_TopicCategoryCode"
content="farming" />
Has anybody else successfully implemented the ISO 19115/19139 terms in the
Dublin Core HTML tags? If so, have I done it right? If not, does anyone
know if what I have done is *incorrect*?
I'm open to any discussions or suggestions about this.
