Hello Francois,
Yes, both are available.
Maybe you could add a simple GUI parameter in config-gui.xml to be able to
turn this feature on/off.
+1 for me then.
Cheers.
Francois
I'd love to have both functionalities combined though, if I had the
time. Cheers,

Subject: Re: [GeoNetwork-devel] Proposal: Improved keyword selection
in advanced searchHello Michael, thanks for that proposal. One question : when user
search for keywords you search for keywords on all thesaurus, you do
not take into account keywords used in the metadata, but reading the
patch, it looks like you keep the current selection mechanism
clicking on the keyword search field ? So both selection mechanism
are available.Cheers.

It involves adding the improved keyword selection in the metadata
editor to the advanced search to be able to pick keywords from
controlled thesauri.

Throughout its 18-year history, RSA Conference consistently attracts the
world's best and brightest in the field, creating opportunities for
Conference attendees to learn about information security's most important
issues through interactions with peers, luminaries and emerging and
established companies. http://p.sf.net/sfu/rsaconf-dev2dev
