I am a new user of Geonetwork and have some questions:
Do you know:
Is there any Polish project based on Geonetwork ?
Is there any Polish translation of Geonetwork interface ?
If yes please give some contact information.
I saved some xml metadata files from sites:
http://www.fao.org/geonetwork/srv/en/main.home - xml in ISO19115 standard
http://www.ngdc.noaa.gov/metadata - xml in FGDC standard
and then tried to import these files in options “XML Metadata Insert” and “Batch Import” but always I always had the same alert: “The requested operation could not be performed.”
I also made xml file made by opensource metadata editor CatMDEdit in ISO19139 standard, then I validated it in programme AltovaXMLSpy (against ISO1939 XSD schema) and everything was OK.
But when I tried to import it in Geonetwork I also have above mentioned alert.
I”ve made these operations in recent versions of Geonetwork (server and desktop).
So what should I do to import xml file ?
I think that the alert should say what is the reason of this.
Please send me or give link to xml files which surely can be imported to geonetwork (in ISO19115, ISO19139 and FGDC standard)
Standard ISO19139:2007 was published 2007.04.17 - http://www.isotc211.org/
Is Geonetwork compatible with published version of this standard (and XSD schemas) ?
If no when it will be compatible ?
During the instalation of geonetwork 2.0.3 (progress 4/4 – instalation of jetty\ext\org.mortbay.jetty.plus.jar) there is an error “Could not compile stylesheet” but after clicking “Continue” instalation finished with information that “Instalation has comleted successfully.” May be this error may cause some disfunction of programme ?

In attached file I included xml file in ISO19139 standard validated in AltovaXMLSpy which I couldn’t import in Geonetwork.
