Geonetwork got really big in the last 2 years. From 2.0 to 2.2 ans soon 2.3.
One thing I am afraid of is the difficulty to maintain the code with an
increasing community and the billions of lines of codes and hundreds of
XML/XSD/XSL configuration files.
But I understand that all of the actual java developer helping on geonetwork
would be very mad, until they realise they could save hundreds of hours of
debugging and spend more time developing. And python is kind of easy to
learn.
Any one would be willing to start a new geonetwork project based on
zope/plone ?
