[GeoNetwork-devel] Regular meetings?

Hi,

Last week, some of us were discussing about making regular meetings to know what features are we implementing separatedly so we don’t duplicate work (and maybe even collaborate to do things faster/cheaper). I was told that a couple of years ago, geonetwork developers used to meet weekly to share info.

Is it still happening? If not, do you think we should do it again?

I think it may be very interesting to know what features are being worked on, and maybe even point to features usually wanted but never implemented. And having a road map further than scattered issues on github may help our potential users a lot.

Regards,
María.

Hi Maria

No regular meetings in IRC since long time afaik. These meetings used to happen weekly on tuesdays at 10:00 or 11:00, not sure about the time.

Seem a good option to start them again, trying to keep them briefly (around 30 min. or so).

Regards,
Jose García

It used to be that we would meet in IRC every tuesday 11.00 my time (in Bern). That hasn’t happened in a long time. I would like to see it start up again as well.

So, do you think tuesday's at 11h (UTC+2?) is a good time?

Hi,

This is a reminder for the irc meeting that is going to take place at
9:00UTC (which means 11:00 for most european countries).

See you in a few hours!
María.

Hi Maria, I could not attend yesterday.
I was trying to look to the log which used to be here http://logs.qgis.org/geonetwork/
Anyone know if we can access IRC log from anywhere else ?

Cheers.

Francois
