I’ve been asked to create a simpler default form for entry of the ISO19139 data. I’ve created a template that pre-fills some data, for example the organisation address etc.
I want to take off most of the optional lines - the ones marked with +
and also hide some of the prefilled data.
I’ve created a new template ok, and can modify the metadata.xsl to not show the unwanted elements.
I don’t want to edit metadata-iso19139 directly as it will be used for all metadata sets not based on my specific template.
I think the way ahead is to create an alternate schema or a profile the existing docs on the web site appear rather out of date.
The key question is how do I get the data to match against my iso19139.niwa profile. What part of a metadata xml file causes the correct metadata-schema.xsl to be used ?
