[GeoNetwork-devel] server.prop file

Hi

I’m updating installer script to replace some properties from svn info command with similar information taken from git. Can anyone confirm about these properties from WEB-INF/server.prop:

  • svn_revision

  • svn_url

Are used in the code? Or are just added to this file for documentation?

I don't think. Mainly version is used to define webapp version and
trigger db update if does not match.

Did you changed it based on git info ?

Ok, so we also need to update version number in server.prop manually
in core-geonetwork
https://github.com/geonetwork/core-geonetwork/blob/master/web/src/main/webapp/WEB-INF/server.prop
because it will not change until the installer is built ?
