Hi list,
As far as I can tell, Geonetwork does support SOAP, i.e.: wrapping request/responses in SOAP Envelopes seems to work. This is not advertized in the Capabilities though. Is there a reason not to do this (yet)?
If not, then just adding a value SOAP to the PostEncoding Constraint in each operation like this:
<ows:Constraint name="PostEncoding">
<ows:Value>XML</ows:Value>
<ows:Value>SOAP</ows:Value>
</ows:Constraint>
will advertize it porperly.
If there are no objections, could somebody with commiter status fix this (in https://geonetwork.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/geonetwork/trunk/web/geonetwork/xml/csw/capabilities.xml)? Thanks!
regards,
Thijs

Hi Thijs,
FYI, this fix will be part of that work, http://n2.nabble.com/CSW—on-going-work-td2163081.html
Cheers,
Mathieu
