[GeoNetwork-devel] Submitting a pull request against which branch?

Hi list

I want to prepare a pull request to fix issue #461. To which branch(es) should it be prepared against?

I’d like this fix to be included in the next version of geonetwork that gets publicly released.

I’ve noticed that the develop branch is substantially different from the v2.10.x branch, and that there is also a stable-develop branch… So, which one to use for issuing this pull request?

Best regards

Hi Ricardo

The next stable version should be based on the branch develop. I would recommend to use this for pull requests

There’s also stable-develop, that some developers are using to build packages based on develop, but not using the latest untested commits I think. In some moment this branch should be removed I think.

The branch 2.10.x is the actual stable version and no new features will be added (except bug fixes)
