Hi Geonetwork developers,
I've heard there was some work going on or at least the intention to move out from ant in favor of maven.
I would like to know if that's still desired and if so, how can I help with it.
Cheers,
Gabriel

Hi Gabriel,
Indeed there is a sandbox [1] to start working on switching on maven.
Last thread on this topic is here :
http://n2.nabble.com/Maven-td4009861.html#a4009861
I think it is still desired by the community, at least I do.
Any help or feedback on this would be greatly appreciated.

Hi all,
With Mathieu, we made an update on maven sandbox last week. Current
status is described here [1]. Maven sandbox is currently aligned with
trunk and running.
A number of issues needs to be discussed (eg. Gast, Embedded mckoi,
Jetty, installer). Maybe a good item for Bolsena 2010.
Ciao.
