I checked out today from GIT the geonetwork core and run
mvn clean install
and get the following failures:

FYI my build enviroment is Windows XP and maven 2.2.1

I recall having similar problems about a month ago. I haven't tried
again in a while since I have had other work to do. It appeared to be
a bug related to Windows, since a couple of people had no problems
when doing so on a Linux box. I didn't get around to trying that, but
I do know that I had problems on at least two machines - one running
XP, the other running Win7. It seems to have cropped up around the
time of the migration to GIT ...
