I would also like to search through the database on the basis of themes. eg search for hydrology within the infrastructure theme. I want metadata to be catogorized into a couple of themes eg, infastructure, governance, health, etc. May someone offer advice on how i can do this.
Hi Prestige,
Theoretically you could create an ISO 19139 CT_Catalogue XML file containing the list of values for each category. You can use these values as keywords and enter the values into the keyword element with the thesaurusName being the file previously mentioned. You will somehow need to add these thesauri XML files as pick lists in your search.
I can't tell you how to do this. I'll leave that up to someone else.
