[GeoNetwork-devel] Thesaurus selector in the angular metadata editor

Hi

In the angular metadata editor I see that when switching to the Full view is displayed a thesaurus selector, but unfortunately it is not available in the Simple view.

I see the related code seem to be in ThesaurusDirective.js and the thesaurusselector.html, but can’t figure out where is managed the display of this thesaurus selector to allow display them in the Simple view.

Is this something that can be configured in a file or requires some development changes? Any idea where to start checking to enable it in the Simple view? Also any reason to don’t display the selector now in the Simple view, looks a quite useful feature.

This is due to the “flat” mode used for the simple view ie. does not display what does not exist in the record.
BTW if your template already set a keyword section from an existing thesaurus, you’ll get the keyword selection in the simple view.

Changes may be required at least in the XSL and eventually in config-editor.xml.

Sure if I add a keyword from a thesaurus in full view and get back to simple view, I got the keyword control to limit the values to that thesaurus, but I would like to know if it’s possible also to enable the button to add a new keyword from thesaurus in the simple view (at least in classic with the binoculars icon was possible this from the simple view)
