I have a changeset that updates Geonetwork to use Geonetwork 8.1 and the new Postgis datastore. I have been testing it and it has been pretty solid so far. Shall I push the change to core-geonetwork?

As it looks like we're starting a period with many new features in
trunk, I would say go for it and we'll take time for more testing in
the coming weeks.
