Hi all,
This may be similar to the search via map thread. I would like to have the
capability to set the bounding coordinates using a map interface and also
present the information gathered from WMS.That option has been added to the new code in the CVS so please test it when you can.
The parameters that can be used on the URL are: northBL southBL westBL and eastBLI would like to use a web map
client called Internet Mapping Framework (IMF).Is GeoNetwork loosely coupled enough to allow IMF (or any other WMC) to be
the map component of the interface? If so what is the API and where is the
documentation to integrate the WMC with the other components?Yes, in fact François Prunay provided a recipy on how to use the CampToCamp map viewer instead of InterMap, so that should provide you with good guidance. The recipy can be found on the Community website in the Software section.
Currently Stefano Giaccio started working on improving InterMap. I have proposed to him to use the GeoNetwork mailing lists to get people updated since we include InterMap by default in the GeoNetwork releases. I’m pushing him gently to write up what he’s doing so you should hear soon about that too
Good luck,
JeroenThanks.
