Hi list,
Using search widgets UI, I wonder how the ResourceType fields values are computed.
Whether or not I set a metadata as “dataset” (in Hierarchy Level, gmd:MD_ScopeCode dataset), they seem to be always listed as datasets. For example, I’ve set up a metadata as “non geographic dataset”, and the Resource Type still doesn’t list me “non geographic datasets”. But when I perform a search for dataset resource types, I still get my “non geographic” metadata.
I don’t really understand how Resource Type works. It seems to mix gmd:MD_ScopeCode values with gmd:CI_PresentationFormCode values.
Can someone enlighten me about all this ?
Thanks,
Jean
Hi Jean,
check the type field in the index and adapt it to your needs.

Hi François,
Thanks for the tip. Now I know how to change Resource Type’s behaviour. And understand what lies behind.
Still, I have a metadata I specificly set as “non geographic dataset” that seems to be indexed as dataset…
Any idea ?
I forgot to mention, I’m using 2.10.2 code.
