Dear all,
I am using Geonetwork 2.4.3 and run into some problems with the
xml.search service. I would like to use the 'similarity' parameter,
which should be possible according to
/web/geonetwork/docs/devmanual/eng/ch05.html. However, it does not
seem to work like I thought it would as
http://localhost/geonetwork/srv/en/xml.search?any=europ&similarity=0.2
gives the same number of results as
http://localhost/geonetwork/srv/en/xml.search?any=europ&similarity=1.
If I use the main.search.embedded service, similarity does seem to
work. http://localhost/geonetwork/srv/en/main.search.embedded?any=europ&similarity=0.2
gives more results than
http://localhost/geonetwork/srv/en/main.search.embedded?any=europ&similarity=1.
Same goes for using the web interface.
Am I overlooking something? Any help would be really appreciated.

This has been fix in trunk. Check the changelog for r6311 if you want
to apply that to 2.4.3
