Hi,
We have GeoNetwork running and are now trying to enable the Z39.50 server.
Geonetwork is deployed on a Websphere server and is accessed through a proxy
server. We have found that we can access the Z39.50 data (using gvSIG as
the client) if we specify the name of the WebSphere server (e.g., WSserver)
but not if we specify the name of the proxy server (e.g, ProxyServer). When
we run GeoNetwork the URL uses the name of the proxy server, e.g.,
"http://ProxyServer/geonetwork" .
In the System Configuration we have set Server to "WSserver" and Port to
"80". We have set the Proxy Host to "ProxyServer" and Port to "80". We
have enabled the Z39.50 server and set Port to "2100". After making these
changes we have restarted GeoNetwork.
We are wondering if there are any other settings or configuration files that
we should be aware of? If there are any suggestions or things to look into,
we'd sure appreciate hearing about those.
Regards, Bob
