Hi Emanuele,
categories are now editable and their localized strings are inside
the database. To localize them, you have to edit the file:
gast/setup/.../CategoriesDes.ddf
Cheers,
Andrea

Hi Andrea,
about this:
(1) the file CategoriesDes.ddf contains a mapping from ids, to language and
the localisation string. This means that to do this localisation you
actually have to look into the database to know these IDs ?
(2) is it necessary to restart the application for changes to this file to
be effective?
thank you,
Heikki Doeleman

Hi all,
The localization Andrea suggests will work when you set up the database from scratch. Not when you want to change categories in a system already installed. In that case you have to use the localization function in the web interface under administration. Attached is a screenshot of that interface.
