[GeoNetwork-users] addDirective - finds snippets but not adding to record [SEC=UNCLASSIFIED]

Hi Guys
Any hints
Using ISO19115-3 in Geonetwork 3.2.0 on Linux (RedHat) with H2 database
AddDirective issue
config-editor.xml
    <for name="mdb:contact" addDirective="data-gn-directory-entry-selector">
      <directiveAttributes
              data-template-add-action="true"
              data-search-action="false"
              data-popup-action="true"
              data-template-type="contact"
              data-filter='{"_root": "cit:CI_Responsibility"}'
              data-variables="cit:role/cit:CI_RoleCode/@codeListValue~{role}"/>popup
    </for>
get: + and "Search for a contact ..."
Click in "Search for a contact ..." : nothing happens
Click on spy-glass: get - pop-up (approximately):

with "Search for a contact ..." and spy-glass
x
Plus

GROUPS # records
              ALL

1st snippet label

2nd snippet label

If I click on the spy-glass:

...

disappears (will come back if I click on the x
If I click on either of the snippets: nothing

I was hoping that the contents of one of the snippets would magically insert itself into the record!

Sugestions?

Cheers

e
