Please could someone advise on how keywords could be listed alphabetically
in the advanced search.

Modifying the searchform_advanced.xsl?

I found a ticket for sortable keywords and it appears to have been
incorporated into Revision 5989:

http://geonetwork.svn.sourceforge.net/viewvc/geonetwork/branches/2.4.x/web/geonetwork/xsl/thesaurus-keywordlist.xsl?view=markup&sortby=rev&pathrev=5989

One line of code from the latter inserted into thesaurus-keywordlist.xsl
allows alphabetical listing of keywords
