[GeoNetwork-users] Authentication against LDAP with TLS/SSL

Hi,

We are running Geonetwork 2.2.0 / tomcat and would like to use authentication against an LDAP server that requires TLS/SSL.

Any advice on how this can be setup in Geonetwork?

When using the configuration through the administration pages of Geonetwork I don't see how to enforce the use of TLS/SSL and consequently this is what the log says:

WARN [geonetwork.ldap] - (C) Reason : [LDAP: error code 13 - TLS confidentiality required]

Hi Steffen,
From what I understand the LDAP authentication is fairly minimal and does not support SSL. Sorry for that.
