Hello,
We have a problem during batch updating of metadata, which already have had thumbnails. (in process Batch import)
After update we can see in METADATA table that records are not updated but deleted and created with the same UUID but with new ID.
This ID is used to create catalog structure of thumbnails.
So after update we can see that still exist calalog structure with old ID and thumbnails
but it is also created new catalog structure with new ID but without thumbnails.
As a result of update we have updated metadata elements but without possibility of viewing thumbnails.
Is it possible to change the algorythms of batch import ?
Batch import should update records like it is done by Metadata insert without change of ID and UUID.

Hello,
We have in Geonetwork 7220 datasets described by metadata and thumbnail.
Some information in all metadata are changed so we generated new 7220 xml files with updated metadata but it is no need to update thumbnails.
How to update in Geonetwork metadata, which already have had thumbnails ? (we don't want to upload thumbnails once more)
We try the process Batch import. After update we can see in METADATA table that records are not updated but deleted and created with the same UUID but with new ID. This ID is used to create catalog structure of thumbnails. So after update we can see that still exist catalog structure with old ID and thumbnails but it is also created new catalog structure with new ID but without thumbnails.
As a result of update we have updated metadata elements but without possibility of viewing thumbnails. Is it possible to change the algorythms of batch import ? Batch import should update records like it is done by Metadata insert without change of ID and UUID.
May be we did something wrong or it is another way to do it ? Please help.
