Hi Anja,
We have several Geonetwork 3.2.2 installations, one multi-node and the
others single node, running on Amazon Web Services t2.large instances
running Ubuntu 16.04 with the postgresql databases running on RDS. This
works well- using tomcat8 you just need to tweak the default memory options
a bit.
