[GeoNetwork-users] change the default map of intermap viewer

Hi, I want to change the default map to a certain area map, instead of the map of whole world, in the section of search of GN homepage. Does anybody know how to do it?

In this directory: GN_inst_dir/web/intermap/scripts/

File : im_minimap.js

Set : im_mm.setBBox(maxY,maxX,minY,minX)

You have to edit this file : GN_inst_dir/web/intermap/WEB-INF/mapServers.xml.

Add server and mapcontext corresponding to your own server and comment those already added.

I modified it too, but it seems that it works only with non-minified version
of the JS files (with ?debug parameter into the URL). So FYI you will
probably have to go into jsbuild/ directory and rebuild the minified version
of the scripts.

Hi,

I modified it too, but it seems that it works only with non-minified
version of the JS files (with ?debug parameter into the URL). So FYI you
will probably have to go into jsbuild/ directory and rebuild the minified
version of the scripts.

After having investigated a bit, I found out that the im_class.js was
minified before the im_minimap.js file. With this behaviour, there was some
js code (var im_mm = new Intermap(...)) located in im_minimap.js executed
before the object Intermap was defined. I attached a patch to fix the js
building process of intermap's minified version (at least, I have no more
error with Firebug after rebuilding, and the use of bounding box seems now
functionning).

Thanks for the fix Pierre. Committed revision 5946.

Do you know any Java libs which could be used to minify JS instead of jsbuild ?
A java lib could be run by the ant process which could be a better option.
