Subject: Re: [GeoNetwork-users] configure geonetwork
Hi,
I'm using jetty.
I tried to edit the file "geonetwork path/bin/jetty.xml" to change the
server information.
In the xml file I changed "localhost" to our host address (see below)
<Set name="host"><SystemProperty name="jetty.host"
default="localhost"/></Set>
<Set name="port"><SystemProperty name="jetty.port" default="8080"/></Set>
but now I can not access Geonetwork at all, neither from the local nor from
a remote computer.
What are the exact server informations that I have to change in the
jetty.xml file?
Thanks for your help,
Karibu

If you're using jetty, did you change the server information in this file:
"geonetwork path/bin/jetty.xml"

Objet : Re: [GeoNetwork-users] configure geonetwork
Hi,
it is possible to access Geonetwork from the local computer.
I just don't understand why it is not working for a remote computer. I set
the configuration setting to exactly the same like I did for the old
Geonetwork version but somehow it seems not to work.
Any more ideas what could be the problem?
Thanks,
Karibu

Hi,
If you are running only once at a time, no, you do not have to change the
port.
Are you able to access to your new GeoNetwork installation from your
local
computer?
Cheers,
Mathieu
Thanks,
Karibu
