Hi,
i'm fiddling with contact directory, so far i've found how to create a contact subtemplate and manage/modify it, but when i add this contact to a metadata as an xlink (add as linked element in 'select from directory') it's not displayed in the metadata view, although it's present in the XML.
<gmd:pointOfContact xmlns:gmx="http://www.isotc211.org/2005/gmx" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink" xlink:href="http://ids-dev.craig.fr/geonetwork-private/srv/fre/subtemplate?uuid=de47c0f3-fe15-4605-8788-e8513af9a46d&process=gmd:role/gmd:CI_RoleCode/@codeListValue~custodian"/>
I can understand it's not displayed in the editor as fields are not supposed to be editable in the xlink case (or it could be displayed as a non-modifiable form), but it should be displayed in the regular metadata viewer, atm it's just a blank empty line - other contacts added from the directory _not_ as linked elements are displayed fine.
Is this a known bug ? Imo this defeats the purpose of using subtemplates/xlinks for contacts..

Maybe this is the issue

Thanks a lot, that was indeed my issue. Enabling the xlinks resolver now properly shows linked contacts/keywords from thesaurus in both metadata editor and viewer.
Maybe dumb question, but why isnt it enabled by default ?
