[GeoNetwork-users] Date of the metadata: Can I change it from <gco:DateTime> to <gco:Date>?

Dear Sir / Madam,

I use Geonetwork version 2.10.0
And I have a problem with the date for the metadata. The GeoNetwork editor saves the date and time when a metadata has been saved automatically.
Here an example of the Metadata-Date as supported by GeoNetwork:

   <gmd:dateStamp>
         <gco:DateTime>2011-02-01T13:01:35</gco:DateTime>
   </gmd:dateStamp>

But aqccording to INSPIRE Implementing Rules it has to look like this:

   <gmd:dateStamp>
        <gco:Date>2011-02-01</gco:Date>
   </gmd:dateStamp>

Is there any chance I can change the automatism from GeoNetwork that it only writes down the <gco:Date> instead of the <gco:DateTime>?

Thanks in advance.
