[Geonetwork-users] deployment

Hi,

I have given geonetwork a brief test on my laptop, using tomcat on
windows 2000. It worked out fairly good (a few quirks in the
installation).

Now I am interested in trying to deploy it on Solaris machine running
Jrun4. The server is not running an X-server, so I am not running the
installer, instead I did an installation on my windows workstation, and
after that I updated all references to "localhost" and to my
installation path to the path I want to deploy it on the server (using
unix slashes, of course).

Then I copy the whole geonetwork directory to the server, and I register
the service using the Jrun administration interface.

But... When I try to access the application I get a 302 re-direct to
"/geonetwork/srv/en/main.search" and that returns a "500 null" error.

Any tips on how I can solve this?

Thanks.

Hi,
anybody tried to import XML metadata export from ArcCatalog to Geonetwork ?

ArcCatalog metadata is based on an ESRI profil and doesn't match the ISO ...
Any ideas on how could I import my metadata ? (XSLT transformation ?)

Thanks for your help.
