G'Day List,
Our GeoNetwork 2.6.3 has been ticking along fine for several months now. We add data layers to the backend GeoServer and manually cross-reference the metadata with the data.
The GeoServer WMS endpoint is visible in GeoNetwork [Add Layers].
Until about an hour ago, layers selected from our GeoServer WMS displayed fine in GeoNetwork's map viewer.
Now, they don't.
External WMS endpoints' layers display fine.
The GeoServer layers display fine through GS Layer Preview and through GeoExplorer map ports.
The same GeoServer layers display fine *if they are added via the [Interactive map] link* in GeoNetwork search results.
The only time the layers are not displaying is if they are added via selection in the Add Layer> Add WMS dialogue. In the Add WMS dialogue, we can see previews for layers coming from external endpoints, but nothing from our own GeoServer WMS. No previews, and no map display.
Our WMS endpoint is: http://74.50.62.108:8080/geoserver/wms?service=WMS&version=1.1.1
The only change we have made in the past hour is to add a bunch of WMS paths to layers in GeoServer. Adding these paths results in a folder-tree display in the WMS GetCapabilities > results > select list.
Tomcat and all services have been individually restarted.
Does this sound familiar to any one? As we have added WMS paths manually to a bunch of these GeoServer layers, Im reluctant to delete them all (by hand) just to check if that makes the difference.
Looking forward to hearing some advice.
Kind regards,
JB
