Hi list,
is there a possibility for exporting a metadata as xml to a local space?
I have a 2.6 .war version of geonetwork deployed at tomcat and I use win.
I read it could done via GAST but I have no GAST.
Any hints?
best regards
Sarah

Hi Sarah,
I'm not sure what you mean by "local space", but you can export
data as XML within geonetwork (without GAST). Do the following:
Search for desired metadata
Select (with checkbox) the metadata (one or many) that you want to
export.
Click "actions on selection" in the top-right.
Go to "export (ZIP)"
This will export the data as XML within a zip file. Each metadata
entry will have a seperate XML file if memory serves.
Hope that helps.

Hi Jonathan,
thanks for this hint! That helped.
I was looking at administration page but could not find "export" only import.
best regards
