How do I add attributes to the z39.50 attribute list?
How do I add an element set to the z39.50 service?
ATTRIBUTES
It appears that GN currently only allows z39.50 searches on field 4, 62,
1016, 2002
I'm having trouble identifying how to add extra attributes to the Z39.50
service provided by GeoNetwork.
The z3950Client.xsl and z39.50Server.xsl seem like a good start.
There are a range of ~100 attributes that are worth searching on.
How do I add additional attributes?
What do I do then: a) just add the attributes (to the xsls above) and
stick back in JAR; b) add the attributes and recompile; c) (a) or (b)
plus ???
ELEMENTS
The standard "brief" z39.50 response is a) Hit # b) Title
There are a standard set of z39.50 additional element sets
I would like to create a specific element set (Title, FileId, ParentId).
[The addition of FileId and ParentId clearly requires an extension of
the Attribute set]
How do I add an additional Element set?
This is my last major hurdle!
