Is Geonetwork installation with Jetty the same as Geonetwork installation
with tomcat on centos or what are the requirement when you want to go on
the Geonetwork installation with Jetty way ?

Simon,
From reading the docs, sorta. In both cases you run the geonetwork
platform independent installer jar. If you want to use jetty then you
just use the scripts in the geonetwork/bin folder to start it.
So to answer your question the default installation uses jetty, you
don't need to do anything special other than make sure you have a
compatible java runtime installed.
If you want to use tomcat you'll need to configure tomcat so it knows
where the application is. While Centos isn't exactly the same it will be
similar to the Tomcat instructions on

I've never actually tried on centos, but hopefully this is everything
you need to know.
