Hi List,
I'm brand new to geonetwork and successfully imported some Hungarian
metadata from xml files into the database.
I have trouble with Hungarian translation.
I followed the instructions here:
http://trac.osgeo.org/geonetwork/wiki/HowToTranslate
Created new language in database and duplicated all the records in tables
ending 'Des' with Hungarian ones.
Also copied loc directories and created hu entries in all dirs.
Translated strings in geonetwork/loc/hu/strings.xml
Added the "Magyar" language into every language and also changed banner.xsl
to enable switching.
Tha language appears on the selection, but when I switch to Hungarian only
the string that are in the db and not in xml are changed like categories.
It's running under Apache Tomcat.
What am I missing?
Thanks,
Csaba

Do you have any error in log file ?
Something like
java.io.FileNotFoundException:
/geonetwork/trunk/web/target/geonetwork/loc/hu/xml/strings.xml (No
such file or directory)
at java.io.FileInputStream.open(Native Method)
Francois
It's running under Apache Tomcat.
What am I missing?
Thanks,

Thanks Francois,
I had a minor formatting error in strings.xml that caused the problem.

Csaba
