I think I have found a bug in GeoNetwork 2.6.0. Could somebody please check,
whether this is a bug in a newer GeoNetwork version?
In order to write an informative GetCapabilities-document, you use
"Administration / System configuration". We would like a proper
contact-adress, so we created a user (reader) with postal address and so on.
We chose this user for "CSW ISO Profile / Contact". It worked fine.
Later on, the postal address of the CSW-User changed. I changed the address
for the user in the user administration, but the GetCapabilties stayed just
the same as before.
Workaround:
You chose another user for the GetCapabilities-document. Save. Then chose
the CSW-User with the updated information. Save. The
GetCapabilities-document now shows the updated information as well.
In the latest version 2.6.3 a new CSW server configuration option is
available in Administration panel, where can be configured this information.
Now if you change the user information in users form, the GetCapabilities
document gets updated. In old System configuration, the problem was that the
user data was copied to other table and not updated later if user
information was updated.
