if you want to collect data for service-metadata, you can link this
service-metadata to other metadata like dataset or series. There are two
possiblities to do this:
Either you click on "Link dataset metadata" or you use the button with field
glasses in the "Identification info... Operates On" part of the GUI. As far
as I can see, neither of these possibilities work in GN 2.6.4. In 2.6.0 both
worked.
In GeoNetwork 2.6.4 the GUI keeps "...Searching for Metadata...". It never
comes to an end. No matter, if you look via UUID for the metadata or a
special word taken from the title. The window for "Link dataset metadata"
pops up and keeps on searching.
Can anybody please verify the problem? Does this kind of thing work anywhere
or is it just our crumbled installation over here showing some kind of
misconfiguration?
I checked it again. We do not think we have any problem with the installation
of GeoNetwork 2.6.4, but the form for the "Related metadata selection"
simply does not work at all in GeoNetowrk 2.6.4. It simply keeps on running
and never comes to a solution.
Seems, we are the only ones using this feature!?
The files from /.../geonetwork/scripts/editor/
(app.LinkedMetadataSelectionPanel.js) have not been changed from version
2.6.0 to 2.6.4 as far as I can see.
Could somebody please verify? Does anybody know a workaround?
