Start with an apology: I suspect this has been discussed earlier
Note: I'm using ISO19115-3 as my base metadata standard
Due to the cardinality of many of the elements in ISO19115 it would be nice to allow for elements to expand to include other classes as needed
Example a research paper is written with multiple authors from each of multiple organisations
/cit:citedResponsibleParty[0..*]/cit:CI_Responsibility/cit:party[1..*]/cit:CI_Organistion/cit:individual[0..*]/cit:CI_Individual
EG ISO19115-3 standard allows for multiple organisations { CI_Organistion }(with the same role) to exist in parallel
Values for the organisations could be stored in one or more sub-directory
And within each of those organisations to have multiple individuals{CI_Individual}
Values for the individuals could be stored in a sub-directory
Is it feasible to construct a mechanism to insert such a aggregation into the metadata?

You may be able to create one directory entry with your set of
authors, but that is not really useful as you'll need many
combination.
Not sure how we could better handle that. Maybe we should rework how
to select first an organisation and then individuals to add
instead of current default subtemplate which is a CI_Responsibility cf.
