Hallo...
i tried both GN 2.1 and 2.2 RC.
Typing a keyword in Geonetworks search field and pressing the "return" key
on the keyboard does not display any metadata result. Only the graphical
"Search" button works. Has anybody fixed this?

Francois fixed that, so please check in the next 2.2 RC2 or by compiling the application yourself from the SVN 2.2.x branch.

It should : see http://trac.osgeo.org/geonetwork/ticket/55.
If you could try the RC2 or the SVN branch as Jeroen proposed it could
be nice to have some more testing before final release on that (is there
any safari tester ?).

I tested and both search and login work on Safari 3.0. Safari 2.0 is not a browser that I strive to be compliant with anymore, there's a range of issues that seem to have been resolved in Safari 3.0. Just some small InterMap issues remain.
