[GeoNetwork-users] harvesting metadatas still exist after restart server

I use GN2.4.2. All harvesting metadata still exist after restarting the
server. The data in c:/geonetwork/data have never been deleted even when I
remove remote node by harvesting management. Are there anybody know why?

Can you check the database whether the records have been removed from the metadata table? /geonetwork/data is the folder where images store. When you remove the harvesting nodes, the metadata under the removing catalog will be deleted from the database, and the images will be deleted from the /geonetwork/data. But there maybe still some folders named"00000-00099" exists.

Thanks for your quick reply.
When I restart the server, all data including database still exists and can
be searched in my geonetwork site. After removing the remote node by
harvesting management, all data in database disapears, but all folders and
files in c:/geonetwork/data still there.

Sorry, I made some mistakes.
After removing remote node and I checked database again, there is not any
harvesting metadata information in metadata table, but there are still
harvesting node catalogs in sources table. And all data in
c:/geonetwork/data is still there,too.
