I understand that sub-templates can be used to copy some repetitive elements into the metadata.
But how do I use it in GeoNetwork 2.1?
1- How should I create a subtemplate?
2- How do I insert the content of the subtemplate into the metadata?
3- How can I modify a subtemplate?
Thanks,
Jean-François Meunier
P.S. I too would like to see some hierarchy in the metadata (using xlinks)

Hi,
Sub Templates are non-functional at this stage in version 2.1 and unfortunately have not been properly hidden from view in the user interface
We have to make sure they are hidden even better in v2.2. I hope they come back fully functional in future releases though.
Ciao,
Jeroen
